And the music of the axe married the swaying of the tree
Such an odd couple yet it be love
One brutal the other docile
Passers by spare not opinions
Such brutality
Some agree the axe will loose interest before its blade deepens
Others confirm what a poor match they seem
yet their love be sweet like the honey and the bee
Oh what violence!
But to rythem the swinging and swaying persist
Indeed how great it is,the lesson they stand to teach
But in judgement others fail to learn and see
Looking with eyes flawed by flesh
Wasting time on logical verdict
Yet the lesson be simple
…One must venture as though to battle and the other eventually bow to it..
So be the tale of the sweetest love story ever told.

…why must it be a battle, this love, though?

Lol forgive my choice of battle as comparison to love..In doing so I see not the violence of battle but its persistence and will to venture for no conquest was ever won without this two π

π true say.
And I know you didnt mean it as in violence…still, love can feel like that sometimes. People often feel bone tired, weary and battle worn…but we havent gotten truly how to love..:)
